so what's with April 4

Early morning, April 4Shot rings out in the Memphis sky Free at last, they took your life They could not take your pride -U2 - this happened to Martin Luther King this very day. One of the first great human rights advocate of our lifetime was silenced by a bullet. -USSR performs nuclear test at Semipalitinsk, Eastern Kazakhstan. Yep a real kick ass nuclear bomb, not one of those designed for testing. -USAF transport carrying orphans from Saigon crashes killing 155. A full plane load of children fleeing the Vietnam conflict. So what is it with April 4, I mean the list goes on,if my memory serves me right. This led me to surfing the net and much to my surprise (and relief). A lot of positive things happened on April 4. Hungary was liberated from Nazi occupation, Wayne Gretzky sets NHL record with his 213th point of the season, Anaheim Ducks clinch their 1st-ever playoff berth. Yes it's the same team inspired in the Disney movies. I guess there really is a balance in the symphony of events we call life. Today is the funeral of my Aunt but it's also Easter Sunday. The passing away of a loved one and the rebirth of the One whose love no mortal can question. So today I'll delete all previous posts and start with this one. Welcome to my own private Idaho.
